Internet Resources for Higher Education Outcomes Assessment

For those who haven't discovered it yet, the North Carolina State University planning and analysis unit has a wonderful resource for all things related to assessment. The link is here. Definitely check it out if you are in the assessment business.

NCSU also runs a conference every year on the topic. I've learned a lot there, and made good contacts. The page for 2009 is here.

Unrelated, but also very useful is the ASSESS list server, which is used to circulate questions and answers about all kinds of assessment-related questions. You can search the archives, join or leave the list here.

This recent post is a good one, with a spreadsheet attachment comparing standardized tests for assessing general education.
